Tomato Plum Mini
Sometimes called a grape tomato the mini plum is renowned for its small size but intense tomato flavour. Grown all year round these smaller cousins to the plum tomato retain the lower liquid level and firmer fleshy texture of their larger counterpart. With their distinctive oval shape mini plum tomatoes are great on their own as a healthy snack. Where they really shine though is when cooked. Their firmer flesh works amazingly sliced on top of a pizza, mixed through pasta, grilled or slow roasted and served with slices of mozzarella as part of a salad.
