Onions Rope
This is one of those traditional and fantastic looking ways of storing onions, with the effort of actually having to plait them together yourself.
The onions are all linked together around a piece of string and plaited together. This creates a visually striking bunch of onions which looks great hung openly in the kitchen or inside a pantry or store cupboard ready for use.
When you need to get an onion starting from the top of the plait just snip through the stem to remove the one you need. Then you can chop, slice, sauté or roast the onion into whatever delicious dish you so desire.
