Lettuce Lollo Rosso
Originating in Italy the Lollo Rosso lettuce has distinctive tightly packed curly leaves that are a striking deep violet colour.
The hardy leaves contain up to one hundred times more antioxidants than other types of lettuce which makes them incredibly good for you, coupled with their slight bitter flavour the curly leaves are best mixed with other salad leaves to provide nutritional value, taste and texture.
