Lettuce Little Gem
Native to Spain but found in many countries worldwide and available all year round the Little Gem lettuce is sweeter than other varieties of lettuce.
With large tender and juicy leaves the vivid green Little Gem is great served on its own as a side salad. The leafy foliage provides a great bed for fish and roasted meats or to let its sweet flavour stand out its even better when shredded, mixed with succulent grilled chicken breast then drizzled with a balsamic vinegar dressing.
