Native to Italy, Baby Courgettes can be enjoyed raw or can be cooked and eaten in a number of ways. Excellent simply fried in a little butter or steamed with lemon, courgettes are a sweet and healthy addition to a meal. The Baby Courgette due to being smaller in size is less bitter and tough than a more fully formed courgette and boasts a softer texture and sweeter more intense flavour. The inherent sweetness of a baby Courgette makes it superb for use cut up and mixed with other vegetables to make the classic Ratatouille.
