Cranberry
The small deep red cranberry is a fruit rich in antioxidants and has a wonderful sweet and juicy flavour. Delicious eaten raw, dried or baking into cakes, the cranberry is versatile enough to be used in a number of dishes. One excellent flavour combination for cranberry is to add citrus. Cranberry mixed with orange zest and cooked down to make a sweet and zesty cranberry sauce creates an incredible accompaniment to a roast or Christmas dinner.
