Candy Beetroot
Candy beetroot is one of the most uniquely coloured vegetables you will find. With its beautiful pink and white concentric rings that then turns to a delicate pink when cooked. The candy beetroot has a sweet and earthy flavour.
The wonderful colouring of the beetroot allows a unique injection of colour to a salad when thinly sliced and mixed through salad leaves. It can also be grated to allow the unique patterning of the flesh to be shown which again adds a touch of unique vibrancy to a salad or makes an interesting and visually engaging garnish.
