Broccoli Purple Sprouting
Purple sprouting broccoli is easily spotted due to its vivid purple florets. With a strong and delicious flavour the purple sprouting broccoli is an excellent substitute for people looking for a change from the more common green broccoli. Robust and versatile, the purple sprouting broccoli can be used in stir-fries, salads or alongside meat and fish. However due to the smaller florets an interesting way to serve it is lightly battered and deep fried as tempura which adds a wonderful crunch to the great flavour of the broccoli.
