Delivery by our modern fleet of vehicles

Fresh Produce is temperamental, always has been, and that means it needs a great deal of looking after. For any orders received here at Sharrocks our computer system changes the print out order to "hard to soft " ensuring that there is no damage to product during order picking. Our team of pickers work through the night collating the orders and all are hugely experienced ensuring that the product arrives with you in optimum condition.

Our warehouse here at Riversway is all temperature controlled ensuring total "cool chain" - In layman's terms this means that the product is always kept in refrigeration. In 2004 we added 13 dock levellers and a temperature controlled goods in and despatch area. The true benefit of this is during the hot summer months - If you visit your existing supplier I would guess that your orders will sit in ambient temperatures for a great of time and this will ultimately reduce the shelf life to you. Why not ask to visit them and see for yourself and don't forget to ask the questions ! - We openly invite all our customers to come and see us work and watch their orders being assembled - we have nothing to hide !

After the orders have been assembled they wait in line ready for despatch in the temperature controlled room. They are then loaded, in sequence, into the refrigerated vehicles - We have every size of refrigerated vehicle to suit your requirements, from huge articulated lorries down to Sprinter vans (and lot of different sizes in between !)

We pride ourselves on our drivers - Our team have all been with us a long time and are all greatly experienced. They know how to unload properly and they will work with you to ensure the delivery is placed just where you want it.

The delivery will come with clear concise paperwork for you to check - you can even select various options for the paperwork ( i.e. with or without prices, in the same order that you placed it, broken down into salads, veg etc.. ).
